The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) conducted the Open Day with regard to construction of residential buildings for IDPs and presented the biddings to be announced to the construction companies in prior.
These days MDF will announce the bidding for construction of houses for IDPs in Zugdidi and Tskaltubo Towns.

At 11:00 a.m. of November 1st, the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MDF) is to conduct the Open Day at multi-functional space “Terminal” regarding construction of buildings for IDPs. The aim of the meeting is the bidding procedures for construction of the buildings to become more transparent and effective. The companies interested will have the opportunity to get familiar with the project prior to announcement of the Bidding that will enable them to get prepared in a better way and the environment too to be more competitive.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing the project for construction of the new up-to-date archeological museum on the basis of the old movie theater building located in Mtskheta. The project is backed by the World Bank and its cost exceeds GEL 9 million. Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia was visiting the ongoing project site together with Shalva Kereselidze, Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) is to commence construction of an innovative center – Tech Park in Kaspi Town. There will be built the two-storey building within the project and work and study rooms, so called fab-lab, along with the conference and auxiliary halls and a working space will be arranged there. There is scheduled to be arranged also the open terrace for various types of activities, site accomplishment, including fencing, parking and landscaping is also planned to be provided there. The project considers requirements of people with disabilities.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) is to commence the second stage of works for rehabilitation of Shvabebi Street in Asureti Village of Tetritskaro Municipality. The project envisages reinstatement of the Church that was built in XIX century by Germans residing then in Asureti, three residential houses and a cemetery.

The access road to Zedazeni Monastery undergoes rehabilitation by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). The project envisages rehabilitation of the road, as well as arrangement of the parking lot and an access road to the Church.

Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing rehabilitation-restoration works for residential houses, astrophysical observatory and adjacent cableway of XIX-XX centuries located in Abastumani; the project is backed by the World Bank. The design provides for rehabilitation of 18 houses located in the historical part of Abastumani, these houses shall undergo works of different scale and complexity.

Paluri Road of Tsalenjikha Municipality undergoes rehabilitation by Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). The project is being implemented with financial support from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and its cost exceeds GEL 3,5 million.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has completed rehabilitation works for State Folklore Center. The project is funded by the Government of Georgia and its cost exceeds GEL 1.6 million
