The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has completed construction of 2 apartment houses for IDPs in Mtskheta. Cost of the Government of Georgia funded project totals GEL 5.5 million. Following project completion, 120 IDP households will be accommodated in new apartment buildings.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia intends to purchase 35 units of special technical equipment for Bakuriani. The project is to be funded by the European Investment Bank and it provides for procurement of snow cleaning, ski run arrangement, solid waste management, traffic congestion preventive/releasing and visitor transportation equipment. Total project cost equals GEL 15 million.

The first international business forum “In search of Golden Fleece” was opened in Kutaisi. Prior to commencement of the session the guests viewed the local products represented in pavilions. The session was opened by Kutaisi Mayor Giorgi Chighvaria.

In 2019 the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is to commence construction of over 50 kindergartens throughout the Municipalities of Georgia.

The infrastructure development program in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region undergoes implementation by MDF of MRDI. Within the referenced program number of infrastructural objects is scheduled to be developed in Zugdidi Municipality, inter alia rehabilitation of Zugdidi Botanic Garden and Ekaterine Dadiani Palace, construction of Zugdidi Library and Sports Complex.

There has been disseminated information in media as though Tskneti-Betania connecting new road requires additional reinforcing, however it is not the truth. The reference of that information was made on retaining wall of Tbilisi-Tskneti motor road which is not the part of Tskneti-Betania Road.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) implements rehabilitation of the fountain in Tskaltubo Park of Tskaltubo Town. Executive Director of MDF Giorgi Shengelia along with Tskaltubo Municipality Mayor Grigol Ioseliani visited the site of current rehabilitation works.
