Rehabilitation of Aleksandre Kazbegi Historical Museum to commence in borough Stepantsminda

With the support of the World Bank (WB), the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) is to rehabilitate three buildings of Aleksandre Kazbegi Historical Museum Complex and to improve the condition of the yard of the Museum in borough Stepantsminda. The referenced three buildings are of Historical Museum, Al. Kazbegi Memorial House and Nikoloz Kazbegi (uncle to Al. Kazbegi) House.

70 Million EUR delivered to MDF for Construction and Rehabilitation of Schools

Today the World Bank's Regional Director for the South Caucasus Mercy Tembon, Minister of Finance of Georgia Ivane Machavariani and Executive Director of MDF Giorgi Shengelia signed the Loan and Project Agreement at the cost of 90 million EUR for implementation of “Innovations, Inclusive Education and Quality” Project. The project will assist to human capital development by raising the availability of preschool education and providing qualitative education and favorable learning environment.

Bakuriani Bypass Road under Active Phase of Construction

Construction of Bakuriani bypass road undergoes implementation by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). The project implementation is funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and its costs exceeds GEL 6 million. Executive Director of MDF Giorgi Shengelia inspected the project progress on site.

On June 7, at 15:00 the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia will hold an Open Day at their office (address: #150 Aghmashenebli avenue) for representatives of road companies. At the meeting, Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia will, for keeping representatives of companies abreast, update them on planned road projects.

Infectious Diseases Hospital Design to be Prepared within a 6 Month Period

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has revealed the winner company for Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center (IDACIRC) design works. Successful bidder is the Georgian Company “Apex Studio 1”. The Company undertakes to present the IDACIRC design within a 6 month period.

Tourist infrastructure to be arranged by Paravani Lake and St. Nino Monastery

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) has scheduled to arrange the tourist infrastructure at Paravani Lake and St. Nino Monastery in Javakheti, Ninotsminda Municipality with financial support from the Government of Georgia (GoG). The design works have been finalized as of to date and the construction bidding is to be announced in the near future.
