The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is proceeding with the School Construction and Rehabilitation Program.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia completed construction of 3 apartment buildings for IDPs on Baramia Street in Zugdidi. Cost of the Government of Georgia funded project averaged GEL 21.5 mln. Following project completion, 360 IDP households will be provided with housing.

Tourist infrastructure arrangement works ongoing next to Bodbe St. Nino Covent in Sighnaghi Municipality are at the final stage. The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is the implementing agency for the named EIB funded project.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) is to complete construction of public school in Tsinarekhi Village of Kaspi Municipality. Implementation of the project launched in 2019, has been backed financially by the Government of Georgia.

Information spread by one of media companies allegedly stating that the cableway under construction in Chiatura has suffered roof damage as a result of rain, is intentionally fabricated and serves the purpose of misleading the public.

The cableways in Chiatura undergo the final stage of construction. Upon resumption of flights for business visitors, experts of French Companies “TechCable” and “POMA” arrived in Georgia several days ago by the very first flight and have already been actively involved in construction process.

Specialists representing French Companies: Tekcable and Poma arrived in Georgia for completing cableway construction works in Chiatura. Cableway construction project under implementation by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia provides for full reconstruction of cableways and stations.

The Municipal Development Fund of the MRDI executed the contract with “UGT” LTD – the winner company revealed following the bidding conducted for procurement of computers and printers for various municipalities. Computers and printers are to be procured under the Second Regional and Municipal Infrastructure Development Project (SRMIDP). Total cost of the World Bank funded project is equal to GEL 1,6 million.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Minsitry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) has concluded the Contract with ,,Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi A.S.” Ltd., winner company of the Bidding for procuring of 175 buses for different Municipalities.

Arranging of tourist infrastructure at Gelati Monastery has finalized as per order of Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). The project implementation was backed financially by World Bank (WB) and the cost of works exceeded GEL 1.6 million. Executive Director of MDF Mr. Giorgi Shengelia visited the site of completed works.
