Municipal Development Fund of Georgia will be led by Ilia Darchiashvili

Municipal Development Fund the legal entity of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia will be led by Ilia Darchiashvili. Ilia Darchiashvili was designated as an executive director based on Prime Minister Order dated March 6, 2015. Since 2014 Ilia Darchiashvili has been working in the Fund on the position of the first deputy executive director, respectively he is familiar with the Ministry and its sub –organization’s activities in details.   

Before MDF Ilia Darchiashvili worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, in particular he worked in the embassy of Georgia in republic of Poland. During 2006-2012 he occupied position of  branch manager in Bank Republic Societe Generale Group; 2004-2006 Bank Republic Societe Generale Group- head of retail services division;  2003 - The Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia - reporting manager at  financial department.    

Ilia Darchiashvili is fluent in Georgian, Polish, Russian and English. In 1998-2004 Ilia Darchiashvili graduated from the Tbilisi I. Javakhishvili State University, BA and MBA in economics.  In 2008-2011 Grenoble Business School – Master in Business Administration.  

Ilia Darchiashvili replaced Giorgi Amashukeli at the position of Executive Director, Giorgi  Amashukeli will resume his carrier on the position of the first deputy minister in the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
