6 villages Population will have new connection road to Tsnori and Signagi.

Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing rehabilitation works of villages Bodbe and Bodbiskhevi connecting road with length of 5 km in Signagi municipality. Project is financed by World Bank, cost of the project is GEL 2 831 384,37  which is implemented within Development of Regional and Municipal Infrastructure II project. 40 workmen are hired on construction works. MDF executive director Girogi Amashukeli along with Kakheti governor Irakli Shiolashvili visited rehabilitation works.

Within the framework of the project arrangement of road surface, artificial structures, concrete culverts, metal pipes, and road shoulders cleaning are in process. Also existing damaged pipes at the entrances of the yards are demolished.

Existing road, which connects more than 6 villages of Signagi municipality to Tsnori was entirely amortized. Since 1985 it has not been rehabilitated. As a result of works completion population of 6 villages will have comfortable and safe road. Road recovery will ease travel to Tsnori and Signagi – significant trade and touring centers of Kakheti. In addition this is the shortest road from mentioned villages up to the capital city.
