In Kaspi 113 ADP families were given keys of residential buildings

Today minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories , Accommodation and refugees of Georgia Sozar Subari , Municipal Development Fund first deputy executive director  Ilia Darchiashvili and USAID mission director Stephan Haiken  granted 113 ADP families with keys of residential houses.

Rehabilitation of former hospital building in Kaspi was implemented by Municipal Development Fund with USAID financing. Total cost of the works is GEL 4.043.674,44 . Within the framework of the project 113 residential houses were rehabilitated. From 113 residential house 37 are one room apartments, 52 – two room and  24 – three room , including several apartments which are totally adapted for disabled persons. Beneficiaries are ADP’s from Samachablo. During project implementation 170 workman were hired, including 50 % locals.

It has to be mentioned that each apartment has totally equipped individual bathroom and kitchen. Water heaters were installed in kitchen, “Karma” type heaters were also installed. Playground and   parking area are also arranged. External lightening network and decorative lightings were installed.

As a result of MDF and USAID partnership 10 residential buildings were rehabilitated in 2013 in different municipalities of country, totally 335 families were granted with residential houses. In 2014  3 block of flats was rehabilitated: In Borjomi, currently rehabilitation works  are in progress in Kutaisi, In total 241 families will be granted with apartments.
