Visit of the Georgian Delegation to Germany is Completed

The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Davit Shavliashvili, his first Deputy, Giorgi Amashukeli, who is also the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund and the Mayor of Tbilisi City, Davit Narmania have completed their visit to Berlin, Germany.    On the last day of their visit,  George Shukhoshvili, Director of "Solid Waste Management Company" briefed the audience of the International Conference on Georgian experience of solid waste management.  

In Berlin, at the International Conference dedicated to “Sustainable Urban Development in South Caucasus” the director of "Solid Waste Management Company" George Shukhoshvili held presentation of activities carried out in the sector of solid waste management in Georgia.   Shukhoshvili discussed those projects, which were completed by the company within a two-year operation period.   

At the conference organized by the German Bank for Development and Reconstruction (KfW), German colleagues and experts updated Georgian, Azerbaijanian and Armenian officials on urban planning, waster resources’ and solid waste management issues. For Georgia, which has undertaken some new obligations under the Association Agreement with the European Union, it is important to share such experience.
