Kvareli Rehabilitation

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has completed rehabilitation works for External lighting of Kvareli streets, underground utilities, planting/landscaping and rehabilitation of central streets under Regional Development Project with the World Bank financing. Locals were employed during all three projects. The lump sum for external lighting of Kvareli streets comprises 1781097.81GEL.


171 items of H-100m antennas including 250 watt lamps were installed under the project on Chavchavadze and Kudigori streets. From Kvareli entrance to the Governmental Entity were installed 138 items of H-5m external lamps. Georgian companies - “Erisimedi” and “Java” executed rehabilitation works for external lighting of Kvareli streets. 25 persons were employed with 32% of locals. Lump sum for rehabilitation project of Kvareli underground utilities comprises 1, 024, 007.25GEL. New sewage pipes and round precast manholes were arranged on Chavchavadze street under the project, including 2142 long/m new water piping metal main on Chavchavadze and Kudigori streets, 160-1700 long/m polyethylene pipe from Governmental Entity to reservoir. All residents of Chvachavadze and Kudigori streets were supplied with water. Installation works for water meters are left to be conducted. Rehabilitation works for Kvareli underground utilities were implemented by “In-Si” Ltd. 18 persons were employed on site, 55% of them were locals. Under Kvareli rehabilitation, besides external lighting and underground communications planting/accomplishment works have been implemented. Project price - 690, 763.71 GEL. In front of the Governmental Entity, trees and bushes were planted on 1150sq.m, 3 sets of decorative and 12 sets of garden lamps were installed, including 23 benches and 11 bins. Garden irrigation system was installed. On the adjacent area of administrative building (97sq.m) were installed 1 decorative and 1 garden light, there were arranged also 6 benches and 2 bins. Garden irrigation system was installed. Rehabilitation works for Kvareli planting/landscaping were implemented by “In-Si” Ltd. 15 persons were employed on site, 66% of them were locals.
