Bidding Announced for Rehabilitation of Three Schools in Samtskhe-Javakheti

 The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is proceeding with the School Construction and Rehabilitation Program.

Bidding announcement process is already initiated in Samtskhe-Javakheti Region. Bidding was announced for rehabilitation of 2 Schools in Ninotsminda Municipality: Town Ninotsminda Public School #1 and Village Kaurma Public School.  Besides, bidding has been announced for procurement of Village Azavreti public school rehabilitation works in Akhalkalaki Municipality.

The schools will be constructed with observance of international standards, and be fully adapted to needs of disabled people. There will be classrooms, WCs, sports grounds arranged in the buildings, yard area will be improved as well. Heating, water supply and wastewater systems will also be arranged under the named program.  

Under the Educational Infrastructure Construction and Rehabilitation Program, the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is undertaking construction of 66 schools, and works for rehabilitation and energy-efficiency component strengthening - for 100 schools. The Educational Program is funded by Government of Georgia and Donors   (CEB and NEFCO). Overall Program cost is exceeding GEL 300 million.

 

The MDF has been involved in Educational Infrastructure Construction and Rehabilitation Program since 2019.
