Rehabilitation of 150 pupil school in Zarzma nearing completion

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is completing the project for rehabilitation of the school building in village Zarzma of Adigheni Municipality. The project at the cost exceeding GEL 1 million is funded by the Government of Georgia.

 

Zarzma school is designed for 150 pupils and is to serve several villages.  The school rehabilitation program involved full rehabilitation of existing school buildings. There were classrooms and toilets refurbished, sports grounds arranged and the yard area improved in the present school. Moreover,  there were heating, water supply and wastewater systems installed there.  The school building is fully adapted to the needs of disabled. Works were launched in March of current year and are to be  completed in several days.  

 

Within the period of 2019-2020, the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia undertakes to rehabilitate and construct about 150 schools countrywide under the Educational Infrastructure Program, which is backed by the Government of Georgia.
