Boulevard Rehabilitation Project Launched in Ureki

The Municipal Development Fund has commenced rehabilitation works for the boulevard and and its adjoining central streets in Ozurgeti Municipality Village Ureki.  The project is backed by the Government of Georgia and its cost averages GEL 5 million.

 

The project provides for complete rehabilitation of Ureki boulevard  and involves construction of public toilets,  outdoor lighting and bicycle lanes, as well as arrangement of small grounds and spaces for outdoor seasonal cafes  and commercial facilities.  It is also planned to arrange road infrastructure and outdoor lighting of the streets located in parallel with the boulevard.   The boulevard will be fully adapted to needs of disabled persons.  

Ureki boulevard rehabilitation will contribute to development of tourist infrastructure and subsequently increase local population employment opportunities.
