Government commission has discussed the issue of construction of Vulnerable shelter
At the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure the regular session of the Interagency Commission to solve the vulnerable problems was held. Among the issues to be discussed - one of the most important was the budget , which was presented by the Municipal Development Fund in connection with the construction of a shelter for Vulnerable People .
According to the decision of the commission, Vulnerable Shelter will be placed on area Didi Lilo and will be designed to accommodate 240 beneficiaries. The blocks for feeding, medical service, and administrative block will be placed there also. Shelter residents will be provided with permanent security. The construction cost is expected to be 1.5 million GEL.
The Commission has already approved the draft presented by the Municipal Development Fund , which will become the basis for drafting the ordinance. This project will be submitted to the Government Meeting, in order to further approval . Since the government will take an appropriate decision , MDF will begin the design work. After arrangement of the infrastructure of the a selected area, along with the construction , the tents will be removed there.
Today, the committee members discussed the issue of replacement of the company responsible for the Vulnerable medical services. As it became known , since March " Catharsis" will take this responsibility.
As for the people living at Vulnerable temporary shelter today, they are still provided with food, medical care , fuel firewood and other necessary services .
