Narmania and Khokrishvili Attended Dispensary Installation Works in Sighnaghi Municipality Village Mashnaari

Under the project for construction of 81 new dispensaries throughout Georgia, one of the dispensaries was installed in Sighnaghi Municipality Village Mashnaari. Installation of sandwich panels was attended by the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - David Narmania and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia – Elguja Khokrishvili.  For construction of 81 new dispensaries countrywide, the Government of Georgia has allocated GEL 2,4 million. During installation works, local authorities were also present at the project site.

The dispensaries will be installed by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia in the special areas selected by the municipalities. The project is being jointly implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia. 

All the dispensaries are standard with the total area of 41-42 sq.m. The building is built with sandwich panels and is equipped with 2 heaters and 2 water closets. Internal and external infrastructure of the building will be fully adapted for disabled. Structural units of dispensaries are being assembled in Georgia and are manufactured in the factory located in Lilo, where some 100 persons are employed.    

Upon completion of the building infrastructure arrangement by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, the dispensaries will be placed under the authority  of the local municipalities, get equipped  and provide medical services to the local population.   The Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia  will disburse GEL  362 894 for the furniture and medical equipment required for the first aid medical facilities.

According to the schedule, construction of 81 dispensaries countrywide will be completed in September of 2014.  Fourteen of the scheduled dispensaries will be placed in the demarcation line bordering villages.  

 

9 dispensaries will be installed in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region,  3- in Guria Region ,  8 – in Kakheti Region,  6- in Kvemo Kartli, 12- in Imereti Region, 5- in Ajara, 7- in Mtskheta Mtianeti, 21- in Shida Kartli,  6- in Samskhe Javakheti, 4 – in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti. 

Local authorities are actively involved in the project implementation process, they provide for settling matters on-the-site. In particular, local authorities ensure arrangement of the foundation, underground utilities, water, gas and electric power supply in the area allotted for the dispensary.   

Currently the dispensaries are already installed in Bolnisi Municipality Village Ranchpari, Ozurgeti Municipality Village Dvabzu, Zugdidi Municipality Villages Inghiri and Ganmukhuri, Tsalenjikha Municipality Village Sachino and Gurjaani Municipality Village Mukuzani.  One of these days, the dispensaries will get assembled in Telavi Municipality Village Shalauri, Terjola Municipality Village Rupoti, Sighnaghi Municipality Village Mashnaari, Shuakhevi Municipality Village Khichauri, Dedoplistskaro Municipality Village Arboshiki, and Kvareli Municipality Village Kuchatani. 

The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia are conducting permanent monitoring in order to provide for completion of construction in timely and quality manner.
