Archeological Museum Construction Works Ongoing in Vani

Giorgi Shengelia – Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund inspected the project site together with local authorities. 

The project provides for construction of the new four-storey (museum) building, arrangement of parking lot,  small library, laboratory, café and office space for administration.  Vani archaeological museum has not been subjected to rehabilitation since  1985.  After project completion it will meet international standards and become the most distinguished museum region-wide.  The museum will be fully adapted to needs of disabled. 

Rehabilitation-reconstruction works will contribute to protection of Archeological site,   development of tourist infrastructure and employment of local population.
