March 25, 2018

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is implementing Tskneti-Samadlo and Tskneti-Akhaldaba road rehabilitation project. Gagi Buadze,  Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and  Sebastien Husson De Sampigny, Head of the Regional Representation of the European Investment Bank (EIB) in South Caucasus were visiting the ongoing project site.

Tskneti-Samadlo and Tskneti-Akhaldaba roads were damaged as a result of natural calamity of June 13, 2015. Travel along the named road has been an unsolved issue for the population.

Tskneti-Betania road is the most complicated section, which connects to Tsalka, Gardabani and Tetritskaro Municipalities.  Rehabilitation works will be completed in June of current year and the population will be able to travel freely and comfortably.

The project is backed by the European Investment Bank.
