Village Laituri Water Supply Project in Active Phase

Arrangement of water supply system is in progress in Village Laituri, Guria Region. Zurab Alavidze, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia together with Merab Chanukvadze, Governor of Guria Region were visiting the project site.  The project backed by the European Investment Bank is under implementation by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia.  

Project cost amounts to GEL 4 703 426 and there are 23 persons employed at the construction site.  

Before arrangement of the water supply system in village Laituri, the old network was unserviceable and the population had to supply water from remote locations  and provide for its storage. As a result of project implementation, the locals will have the named problem solved and   3300 inhabitants will benefit from 24-hour water supply.   The project was launched in July, 2017 and will be completed in November of 2018.
