Rehabilitation of Askana-Mshvidobauri-Bakhvi Road Completed

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has completed rehabilitation works for the 7km long Askana-Mshvidobauri-Bakhvi road in Ozurgeti Municipality. Cost of the project backed by the European Investment Bank exceeds GEL 3 million. Levan Sukhitashvili, Head of Construction Supervision Unit has inspected the project site.
Under the project, a two-course asphalt-concrete pavement was arranged, 2 bridge crossings got rehabilitated and a new drainage system was constructed.
Project implementation will contribute to considerable improvement and facilitation of motor traffic for the population of the three villages of Ozurgeti Municipality and promote tourism development.
