Ozurgeti population to have the renovated Folklore Center from August

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia rehabilitates the Administrative Building for Ozurgeti Representation of Folklore State Center of Georgia. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze has conducted the site visit aimed at inspecting progress of works. The building was in an emergency condition and its rehabilitation was of mandatory character. The project envisages overall rehabilitation of internal interior and outward façade. At present stage the roofing of the building undergoes arrangement and façade facing and yard accomplishment works are being conducted there. There will be located the Archive and Studio for Voice Recording at Ozurgeti Folklore Center. The building will be adopted to the people with disabilities.

The project implementation financing is provided by the Government of Georgia and its total cost amounts to GEL 1 490 000. Ozurgeti population will have the renovated Folklore Center from August. The project was commenced in autumn of 2016 and will be finalized at the end of summer, 2017.
