Kindergarten construction in Mukhrani Village under full progress

The kindergarten is being constructed by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia in St. George District of Village Mukhrani, Mtskheta Municipality. The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Zurab Alavidze, Authorized Representative-Governor of Mtskheta Mtianeti - Gocha Zeikidze and Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund – Galaktion Buadze have visited today construction process.

The project envisages construction of two-storey building considered for 160 children.

Total area of the building makes up 700 m2.  Dismantling of existing, amortized building has been finalized already and foundation casting works for the new kindergarten building are in progress.

Due to completely amortized condition of the kindergarten building being in St. George District, population of Mukhrani Village had to take children to Ksani Kindergarten. The old kindergarten building which completely had been out of order, was destroyed totally and absolutely new building of modern standards is being constructed for Mukhrani children.

The project implementation is funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and its cost exceeds 1 600 000. Completion of works is scheduled to take place in autumn 2017.

There are employed 15 people at construction site.
