The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing rehabilitation works for the 7km road in 6 villages of Sachkhere Municipality.  The project is funded by the European Investment Bank and its cost amounts to GEL 4 099 000. Today, Juansher Burchuladze, the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia and representatives of the  European Investment Bank were visiting the project site.  The project envisages arrangement of the 7km asphalt-concrete pavement, with 5 meter width carriageway. The project also provides for arrangement of concrete road ditches,  curbs and metal culverts.  Moreover, installation of road signs is envisaged for safety purposes.  It is notable that the existing road pavement was actually non-existent and it was impossible to travel on it. After rehabilitation of the named road, population of the villages Sairkhe, Gorisa, Modzvi,   Jalaurta, and Chorvila will benefit from safe and comfortable conveyance.    There are 60 persons employed at the project site, majority of them are locals.
