Mestia Municipality to have renovated Sport School
Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze has conducted the site visit for reconstruction-rehabilitation works of Iliko Gabliani Sport School in Mulakhi Community of Mestia Municipality.
Over 100 children go in for various types of sports in Mulakhi Community (comprising of 11 villages with over 1000 residents in total). One-storey building at which they do exercise (former farm building) is wholly amortized and does not meet the requirements designated for the Sport School. The project considers rehabilitation of the old building in compliance with international standards, arrangement of exercising-climbing wall, basin and a wrestling hall and equipping of the building with the required inventory.
Professional and amateur sports events in different types of Sports on national as well as on international level will be conducted at renovated Sport School that will assist to healthy lifestyle establishment among the youth.
