Accesses road to Sapara monastery is under rehabilitation

Municipal Development Fund executive director Juansher Burchuladze visited construction rehabilitation works of 7 km access road to Sapara monastery.

There has never been asphalt pavement on mentioned section until present. Reaching monastery was available by soil road which during rainy weather was becoming impassable. Since completion of rehabilitation works this problem will be resolved. 

Within the framework of the project 2 layer asphalt-concrete pavement and artificial structures will be arranged on this road section. Project  also envisages arrangement of concrete parapets and metal water drainages as well as road marking.  

Sapara road rehabilitation is financed by World Bank and cost amounts to GEL 3 198 099,81. Project commenced in April of current year and will be finalized in September, more than 50 workmen is hired on works most of them locals.
