Rehabilitation of an access road to Aspinda rugby field in progress

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has commenced rehabilitation works for an access road to rugby field in Aspindza Municipality. Today the Executive Director of the Fund Juansher Burchuladze has visited the working process on site.

 

As of today existing access road to Aspinda rugby field is covered by ground paving and its length exceeds 2 km, respectively movement of both: pedestrians and vehicle means is impeded when they use this road, especially in rainy days what in its turn represents an impeding factor for the youth and amateurs for the latters to go in for sports.

 

The project considers applying of the 2-layer asphalt concrete pavement of 6 m width. There will be arranged the artificial structures from the roadbed aimed at water removing and relevant safety arrangements will also be taken there. There have been employed up to 30 people on site and works are being conducted at full load.

 

Since autumn 2016 the local residents will be able to move on this road in any kind of weather in an unimpeded manner.

 

The project is under implementation with the financial support of the European Investment Bank (EIB) at the Cost exceeding million GEL.
