Regional Development Commission reviewed more than a hundred projects
At Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure the regular session of the Government Commission on Regional Development was held. The members of the commission have reviewed more then 100 projects from the fund of the projects to be implemented in the regions of Georgia for 2014.
The projects have been worked out by the municipalities and governors. They themselves defined the priorities of their regions and municipalities. The commission gave the positive recommendation to the majority of applications; some of the projects will require additional study. The total cost of the discussed projects is 36 million GEL, from which the cost of the works is 35.5 million GEL , while the amount for projecting is 500 thousand GEL .
The Government have already allocated 135 million GEL for the design work on the current session to the municipalities. About the projects approved by Governmental Commission today, the Government will make decision at the next meeting.
