Rehabilitation of the 4km Road under Completion in Village Chalaubani

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is completing rehabilitation works for the 4km road in Gurjaani Municipality Village Chalaubani.  Project cost amounts to GEL   950 675,00 and it is backed by the World Bank.  Today, completion of civil works was attended by the First Deputy Minister of  Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mr. Ilia Darchiashvili and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Mr. Juansher Burchuladze.   The village Chalaubani road has not undergone rehabilitation since 1970, due to the above-mentioned fact, the road was deteriorated and the village population faced problems while travelling on it.  

 

Under the named project, a local importance 4km long depreciated road of Chalaubani was subjected to full rehabilitation, in particular, asphalt concrete pavement and storm sewer were arranged, and  the population was provided with driveways to their private properties.  About 40 persons were employed at the project site. As a result of project implementation approximately 1200 people living in the village Chalaubani will be able to travel in a safe and comfortable way.
