Construction 320 room dormitory on Lisi lake territory is in active progress.

 Under the initiative of prime minister of Georgia construction of 320 room dormitory on Lisi lake territory is in progress. MDF executive director Ilia Darchiashvili visited progress of works. Implementation of the project will improve educational and living conditions of socially vulnerable students living in occupied territories and in different municipalities. Construction of dormitory is in compliance with international standards. It also worth mentioned that civil works are implemented outstrip.  

 

Project envisages construction of 3 residential and one administrative building, as well as café, conference hall, medical unit, library, room for computers, laundry and other. Internal roads and paths and open mini stadium will be arranged outside the building as well as outdoor gym and external lighting. Civil works are financed form state budget and total cost amounts to GEL 5.250.777.

 

Two buildings are almost built among three residential buildings and the walls of the third building are built up to the second floor. Simultaneously outside perimeter walls are in progress. As for administrative two storey building zero level cycle is completed and columns of the first floor are concreted. More than 40 workmen are hired for construction.  

 

Civil works are implemented by MDF under GoG order. Hotel type rooms will be arranged in dormitory including several rooms envisaged for disabled persons. Accordingly infrastructure of dormitory will be entirely adapted for disabled persons, after civil works completion building will be handover to the Ministry of education and science of Georgia. 320 students will have living and education opportunity. Civil works are implemented by Ltd “Saba construction” and completion is planned in 2016.
