24 hour water supply will be provided to population of Tsnori

By EIB financial support in borough Tsnori rehabilitation of water supply system is implemented by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia. MDF Executive director Ilia Darchiashvili visited site and inspected quality of works. Cost of the project is GEL 8 318605,92. On construction works 35 workmen are hired most of them locals. Virtually water supply is not provided for 50 % borough Tsnori population and for the rest 50 % provision is under schedule.  As a result of project finalization population of Tsnori will be provided with high quality 24 hour water supply.

Project implementation is coordinated by MDF and United Water Supply Company.

Rehabilitation of Tsnori water supply system is financed by EIB, cost of the project amounts more than GEL 8 million. Aim of the project is to provide through new system 24 hour water supply to 6400 residents of Tsnori. In the course of years water for separate districts are provided from area boreholes. Within the framework of the project rehabilitation/reconstruction works will be carried out for the following:  1250 m3 reservoir, pumping station, boreholes, chlorination unit, pressure pipeline reservoirs, entire rehabilitation of internal distribution network, and arrangement of I-II-III zones. Works will be finalized in 2016. Since completion of rehabilitation works object will be handover to United Water Company of Georgia.
