Giorgi Tsibadze

First Deputy Executive Director

Giorgi Tsibadze (August 28, 1980, Tbilisi) - First Deputy Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of
Georgia, since November 2021.From March 2019 to October 2021 - held the position of Deputy Chairman of the
Roads Department. From July 2018 to March 2019 - worked in the capacity of Deputy Head of the Economic
Department of the Special Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia - a state sub-departmental
institution operating in the field of governance. Within 2015-2018 - held the same position in the Ministry of
Corrections of Georgia. During 2012-2015 - was the head of the Finance Department of the Penitentiary
Department of the Ministry of Corrections of Georgia. In 2012 - worked in the same department as the Deputy Head
of the Economic Division. In 2002-2004 – held the position of Information Systems Officer in the South Caucasus
office of Penal Reform International (PRI) (Penal Reform International, Regional office), in 2005 – worked as
Project Coordinator of the same office, and within 2005-2012 – as Financial Manager of the same office. During
2003-2006 - worked in the capacity of a Database Administrator in the ‘Empathy’ Center, in 2006-2012 - worked in
the same organization as a Financial Manager. Within 2009-2012 - worked as a Financial Manager in the National
Network for Protection from Violence, in the Peon Women's Club and the Training Center for Trainers. In 2002-2004
– held the position of the Manager of Information Systems and Distribution in "GESAP" - the Society of Authors and
Performers of Georgia.
Education
In 2002 - graduated from the Technical University of Georgia with a specialization in financial applied mathematics (BA).
In 2004 - graduated from the Technical University of Georgia with a specialization in financial applied mathematics
(Master's degree).
Married with 3 children.
