Sub-project is being implanted within the Second Regional and Municipal Infrastructure Development Project with WB support.

Sustainable Urban Transport Investment Program (ADB Loans 2655-GEO, 2879-GEO, 2880-GEO) aims at development of the efficient, reliable and affordable urban infrastructure and service improvement. Biannual Environmental Monitoring Reports for the projects implemented under the first and second tranches of the SUTIP, have been prepared by the Municipal Development Fund and cover the periods of January-June, 2014".

The Government of Georgia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to finance the Sustainable Urban Transport Investment Program – Project 1. Part of the loan proceeds will finance the Tbilisi Metro line 2 extension including the creation of the University Station.

The SP envisages restoration-rehabilitation of Tskatubo Municipality Administration (Gamgeoba) building facade and interior and rehabilitation of the theater building façade situated in Tskaltubo, in the central park area.

The SP includes: rehabilitation of storm-water drainage system in the central part of the Park and on the “Tsivi Tba”, rehabilitation of the roads in the park, arrangement of pedestrian and bicycle pathways of Tskaltubo Town’s central park.

The objective the Second Regional and Municipal Infrastructure Development project is to improve the efficiency and reliability of targeted municipal services and infrastructure. This will be achieved by investing in high-priority local infrastructure improvements, and by supporting LSGs in enhancing their capacity and systems for service delivery.
