Rehabilitation of road and arrangement of parking at Zedazeni Monastery

The SP is implementing under the Third Regional Development (RDP III), supported by World Bank.
Under the present sub-project (SP), it is planned to rehabilitate the access road to the Zedazeni Monastery in Mtskheta Municipality. The road starts from village Saguramo and ends on the adjacent territoriy to the Zedazeni Monastery. The whole length of the rehabilitative road is 6305 m.

MODERNIZATION OF TBILISI-RUSTAVI SECTION (SECTION 2) OF THE TBILISI-RED BRIDGE (AZERBAIJANI BORDER) ROAD PROJECT – SUTIP 3

For “Tbilisi - Rustavi Road Modernization (Section 2)” project, civil works contract was awarded on 12 December 2016 and notice to proceed was issued on 28 February 2017 allowing access to the acquired properties.

Six groups of affected persons from residents of Ponichala filled two complaints and forwarded to OSPF and the Office of the Compliance Review Panel (OCRP) under SUTIP 3. The complainants alleged that they were not properly consulted about the impact of the Project and the proposed mitigation measures.
