Public Consultation Meeting on Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Telavi WWTP Construction and Operation
Telavi Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) (at output of 14 400 m3/24-hour day) is scheduled to be constructed in the vicinity of Kondoli Village of Telavi Municipality within “Waste Water Sustainable Management Project”, undergoing implementation by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) with support of Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and the World Bank (WB).
Operation of WWTP will provide treatment of sewage water emerged within Telavi Town, to the allowable rate. Treated water is considered to be discharged into Alazani River. Operation of WWTP will be executed by “United Water Supply Company of Georgia”.
Public Consultation Meeting on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for construction and operation of Telavi WWTP will be conducted:
- At 14:00 p.m. of August 30th of 2017 at the Meeting Hall of Town Telavi Municipality Council (Address: #16 Erekele II Ave., Telavi Town)
- At 14:00 p.m. of August 31st of 2017 at Public School Building of Kondoli Village in Telavi Municipality.
The representatives of the society will be able to get familiar with EIA Report concerning planned activity at the addresses as follows:
- Building of Telavi Municipality Governmental Entity - #16 Erekle II Ave., Telavi Town
