Rehabilitation of the central part of village Velistsikhe, Gurjaani Municipality
Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is planning to rehabilitate the central part of village Velistsikhe in Gurjaani Municipality, with the financial support of Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Draft Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) and Draft Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan (LARP) are prepared in accordance with the ADB safeguard policies. In order to discuss the mentioned environmental and social documentation publicly and due the outbreak of COVID 19, distant communication channels will be used to conduct consultations with stakeholders. Main purpose of the meeting will be keeping stakeholders abreast of the sub-project related planned activities, the expected negative impacts on the natural and social environment and the ways and means of preventing them.
