The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is constructing a first aid clinic in the frontline village. Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze has visited the project site and checked quality of construction works in Gori Municipality Village Tkviavi.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Georgia has donated snow-plough and ice-cutting equipment to Kazbegi Municipality. The special equipment is multifunctional and it may be used for cleaning streets during other seasons as well. Cost of equipment amounts to GEL 295,000.00 and it was purchased with financial assistance of the World Bank. The named equipment was handed-over to the Municipality and tested by the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze.

MDF has started rehabilitation of Nikea Street in town Kutaisi. Commencement of the works were opened by first deputy minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ilia Darchiashvili and MDF executive director Juansher Burchuladze. Project is financed by World Bank financial support and cost amounts to GEL 7 mln 200 thousand.
Road pavement of Nikea Street was damaged and amortized which caused permanent traffic jams. As a result of entire rehabilitation and renovation of the street traffic flow movement has significantly improved in town. Accordingly movement will become more safe and comfortable.

Arrangement of tourist infrastructure by Gelati Monastery and monastery conservation works are under implementation by order of the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. The project is backed by the World Bank and Government of Georgia. Today, the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, Juansher Burchuladze were visiting the project site. The project aims at contributing to conservation of cultural heritage monuments and promotion of touristic infrastructure development in Georgia. Cost of works amounts to GEL 2,5 million.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing cultural heritage monument, namely Geguti Castle access road rehabilitation works in Tskaltubo Municipality village Geguti. Today, the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze were visiting the project site. Geguti Castle access road was depreciated and posed threat to the safety of passengers.

In connection with Tbilisi-Rustavi highway construction works, representatives of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia and Asian Development Bank held a meeting with Rustavi population. The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing the project of construction of the 17.4 km long Tbilisi-Rustavi highway, project cost amounts to GEL 96 685 218.40. Representatives of the MDF and donor organization briefed the audience on the named project.

With the World Bank financial support, the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia has retrained 500 persons employed in the tourism sector in Kakheti Region. Today, in Kakheti Region and namely in Tsinandali, the Deputy Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Davit Tabidze, World Bank Program Leader for Sustainable Development in the South Caucasus, Ahmed Eiweida, and Director of McInerney Hospitality International LLC, Joseph A. McInerney have issued certificates to the persons, which underwent special trainings in the field of tourism.

Today, the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Caucasus University have signed the Memorandum of cooperation. Under the Memorandum, students and graduates of the university will have opportunity to undergo on-the-job training, deepen their knowledge, and enhance qualification in the respective units of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia. The signees of the memorandum are Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze and President of the Caucasus University, Kakkaber Shengelia.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has commenced rehabilitation works for the 4km road in Gurjaani Municipality Village Chalaubani. Project cost amounts to GEL 950 675,00 and it is backed by the World Bank. Today, commencement of civil works was launched by the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia - Juansher Burchuladze and local authorities.

Municipal Development Fund of the ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia implements construction of pitcher school workshop in village Ikalto. Today MDF executive director Juansher Burchuladze visited civil works, cost of construction amounts GEL 2 290366,37 .
Within the project framework three storey administrative building and one storey building -enterprise producing pitcher were constructed. Ikalto school workshop gives opportunity to every interested person to watch pitcher ancient technology composition process, also there will be museum where ancient clay vessel will be exhibited. Besides museum and workshop construction of library and internet cafe is foreseen, clay vessel modeling will be available for all interested visitors.
