On July 12th, 2016 Minister of Finance of Georgia Nodar Khaduri and Regional Director of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Caucasus, Moldova and Belorussia Bruno Balvanera signed the Contracts of Financing for “Solid Waste Management Project in Georgia”. Today Bruno Balvanera and Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze have concluded the Project Agreement.

Municipal Development Fund executive director Juansher Burchuladze visited construction rehabilitation works of 7 km access road to Sapara monastery.
There has never been asphalt pavement on mentioned section until present. Reaching monastery was available by soil road which during rainy weather was becoming impassable. Since completion of rehabilitation works this problem will be resolved.

Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Juansher Burchuladze has met with the members of Armenian Delegation, in particular with the First Deputy Minister of Territorial Management and Development of Armenia - Vache Tertiryan and Head of Local Self-Governmental Department - Ashot Giloyan.

Municipal Development Fund of the ministry of regional development and infrastructure of Georgia has completed construction of 320 room student hostel at Lisi Lake adjacent territory. Today Minister of Education and Science Aleksandre Jejelva, first deputy minister of regional development and infrastructure Ilia Darchiashvili Municipal Development Fund executive director Juansher Burchuladze visited newly constructed building. Student hostel will improve educational and living conditions for vulnerable students from different municipalities.

The Municipal Development Fund of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry of Georgia has completed rehabilitation of two kindergartens in Aspindza Municipality with the financial support of the World Bank. Juansher Burchuladze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund has conducted the site visit aimed at surveying accomplished works.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing rehabilitation works for the 7 km road section in 6 villages of Sachkhere Municipality. The project is funded by the European Investment Bank. Today, Juansher Burchuladze, the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia was vising the project site.
The project envisages laying a 7km long asphalt-concrete pavement, with a 5 meter width carriageway. The project also envisages arrangement of concrete road ditches, curbs and metal drainpipes. Moreover, installation of road signs is also envisaged for safety purposes.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has commenced rehabilitation works for an access road to rugby field in Aspindza Municipality. Today the Executive Director of the Fund Juansher Burchuladze has visited the working process on site.

On June 13, 2016, which is an anniversary of the natural disaster, geological survey of the damaged section of Tskenti-Betania road and its adjacent area is completed. The survey was conducted on demand and in coordination with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. The design for rehabilitation of the road sections, which were damaged by the calamity is under preparation. American experts backed by the USAID were actively involved in the process of survey; together with the Georgian specialists, they have conducted geological investigations by applying latest technologies.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing restoration-conservation of the cultural heritage monument, Katskhi monastery and arrangement of touristic infrastructure zones in the monastery adjacent area in Chiatura Municipality. Today, Juansher Burchuladze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia was visiting the project site.
Rehabilitation works, funded by the World Bank are being implemented under the Regional Development Project and project cost exceeds GEL 1,000,000.
