Rehabilitation works for Telavi and Usakhelo Gorges are ongoing concurrently. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Galaktion Buadze and Authorized Representative of the State in Kakheti Region Irakli Kadagishvili were visiting the project site for inspection of ongoing works.

Rehabilitation works are ongoing for the several villages’ connecting road in Chiatura Municipality. The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia backed by the European Investment Bank is implementing rehabilitation works for the 6 km road section. Zurab Alavidze – Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure together with the Executive Director of the MDF was visiting the project site.

Municipal Development Fund of the Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is carrying out restoration-conservation works of cultural heritage monument- Kahtkhi column, as well as arrangement of tourist infrastructure zones adjacent to monastery territory. Works were visited by minster of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze and MDF executive director Galaktion Buadze.

On the instructions of the Government of Georgia, the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has commenced rehabilitation and reconstruction works for the passanger ropeway transport systems and stations existing in town Chiatura. The project is funded by the Governments of Georgia and France and its total cost averages GEL 40 mln. The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia – Zurab Alavidze, Governor of Imereti Region – Givi Chichinadze, and Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia – Galaktion Buadze were visiting Chiatura for inspection of construction works.

Construction of subway station N23 is in progress. In May 2015 with ADB financial support MDF commenced construction of 23rd subway station “University“. Cost of the project amounts to GEL 83,000,670 which envisages entire rehabilitation of existing conserved tunnels.

The kindergarten is being constructed by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia in St. George District of Village Mukhrani, Mtskheta Municipality. The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Zurab Alavidze, Authorized Representative-Governor of Mtskheta Mtianeti - Gocha Zeikidze and Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund – Galaktion Buadze have visited today construction process.

Construction of an Emergency Medical Aid Center undergoes construction in Tkviavi Village. The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Zurab Alavidze, Acting Authorized Representative-Governor of Shida Kartli - Ioseb Okromelidze and Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of Georgia – Galaktion Buadze visited the village of separating line aimed at observing conclusive works.

The new Museum is being constructed in the vicinity of Batoni Palace in Telavi City. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Galaktion Buadze and Kakheti Governor Irakli Kadagishvili have conducted the site visit for construction works of the Museum.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia backed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has purchased 144 garbage trucks and 7209 refuse bins for various municipalities of Georgia. Part of technical equipment was handed over to Borjomi Municipality by Zurab Alavidze, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Galaktion Buadze, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia.
