The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is initiating cultural heritage and tourist zone improvement works in Motsameta Monastery of Tkibuli Municipality. The project is backed by the World Bank and its cost averages GEL 1.4 million.

The Sports Complex is being constructed in borough Stepantsminda of Kazbegi Municipality. The works undergo execution by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) with financial suport from the European Investment Bank (EIB) at the cost of approximately GEL 1,500 000. Deputy Minsiter of Regional Development and Infrastructure Mr. Grigol Katsia and Executive Director of MDF Mr. Giorgi Shengelia visited the site to inspect the works ongoing.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) is carrying out construction of Museum of Archeology of new and modern standards on the basis of the old cinema building that is located in Mtskheta Town. The project undergoes implementation with financial support from the World Bank (WB) at the cost exceeding GEL 9 million. The bidding winner Company had had to take the responsibility to build the infectious Hospital designated for 100 beds at the cost of GEL 26 million. The proposed price was based on calculations of the Company, and not on the basis of the detailed design-cost estimate documentation, as in accordance with the bidding conditions, the Company had had to prepare the design documentation for the hospital on its own and then provide its building.
