The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) implements infrastructural projects at Katskhi Pillar of Chiatura Municipality by means of the World Bank (WB) funding.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is implementing Chiatura ropeway rehabilitation project. The project is backed by Governments of France and Georgia and its cost averages GEL 40 million.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) has commenced rehabilitation of the road which connects 6 villages of Sachkhere Municipality. The project implementation is funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and its cost amounts to 4.4 million EUR at average. Executive Director of MDF along with the representatives of local authorities, visited the site to inspect the works in progress.

Roshka-Arkhoti motor road undergoes rehabilitation by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). The 28-km road has been completely passed through within the project that enables movement of cross-country vehicles.

Rehabilitation of water supply system (WSS) in borough Laituri of Ozurgeti Municipality undergoes implementation by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). The project implementation is funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and its cost amounts to GEL 4.7 million.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) conducts the works for formation of Vere riverbed in Tbilisi City. The project undergoes implementation with financial support from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and its cost exceeds GEL 10 million.

Maya Tskitishvili – Vice- Premier, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Giorgi Shengelia – Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund were visiting the project site for monitoring rehabilitation works in progress.
