The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) is to commence implementation of infrastructural projects in Velistsikhe Village of Kakheti Region. The works envisage rehabilitation-reconstruction of up to 55 residential houses located on central street of Velistsikhe Village and a theatre and a square being in Velistsikhe Village.

Maya Tskitishvili, Vice-Premier, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia together with Shalva Kereselidze, Authorized Representative of the State in Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia visited Dusheti historical district for inspection of ongoing rehabilitation works.

In 2019 the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) is to commence construction of over 50 kindergartens in various Municipalities of Georgia. MDF has already announced the Bidding for design of 4 kindergartens.

At the meeting, those interested in the named projects will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with scheduled design-construction conditions.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) has already announced the Bidding for design and build of 25 schools out of 29 in total. Construction of schools is to be carried out with funding from the Government of Georgia (GoG).

The representatives of the construction companies were notified of the information on conditions of scheduled constructions of 6 new buildings for IDP housing in Zugdudi, Tskaltubo and Kutaisi.
