6 residential houses for IDPs in Gvishtibi Village undergo construction by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). The project implementation is funded by the Government of Georgia at the cost exceeding GEL 28 million. Upon finalization of the project, 420 IDP households will be provided with housing.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) will provide construction and rehabilitation of 150 schools in 2019-2020. At present MDF has already announced the Bidding for design-build of up to 35 schools, including the Pubic School designated for 240 children in Tskaltubo Village of Tskaltubo Municipality, visited by Executive Director of MDF Giorgi Shengelia along with Tskaltubo Municipality Mayor Grigol Ioseliani.

There was held the first international Conference “Energy Efficient Construction” in Georgia, in attendance of which were Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Grigol Katsia, Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) Giorgi Shengelia, International Financial Organizations and representatives of construction-development companies.

Maya Tskitishvili, Vice-Premier, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Mikheil Giorgadze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Nikoloz Antidze, Director of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation, Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia presented “Akholis” Association integrating 8 design companies to Mtskheta population, Authorized Representative of State in Mtskheta-Mtianti, Mayor of Mtskheta Municipality and other interested persons.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia awarded contract to the winner company, which was selected as a result of bidding conducted for Mtskheta master plan development.
The contract was executed with “Akholi” association, multidisciplinary group integrating 8 design companies with complete staff of sectoral specialists.

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) is to commence implementation of infrastructural projects in Velistsikhe Village of Kakheti Region. The works envisage rehabilitation-reconstruction of up to 55 residential houses located on central street of Velistsikhe Village and a theatre and a square being in Velistsikhe Village.

Maya Tskitishvili, Vice-Premier, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia together with Shalva Kereselidze, Authorized Representative of the State in Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia visited Dusheti historical district for inspection of ongoing rehabilitation works.

In 2019 the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) is to commence construction of over 50 kindergartens in various Municipalities of Georgia. MDF has already announced the Bidding for design of 4 kindergartens.

Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) Giorgi Shengelia has met with Patrick Leleu, Executive Director of French Construction Company „Consortsium SADE & VWS ROMANIA“ and other representatives of the Company.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has commenced rehabilitation of village Zarzma school in Adigheni Municipality. The project with the cost exceeding GEL 1 million is funded by the Government of Georgia.
