The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) has announced the Bidding for finalizing Zugdidi Soccer Field of UEFA 3rd Category and constructing the extra field. The soccer field is located at Janashia Street in Zugdidi Town. Its construction was commenced as per the order of Zugdidi Municipality, however completion of that field within the set standards and dates failed.

The works for accomplishment of cultural heritage and tourist zones at Motsameta Monastery of Tkibuli Municipality, are being carried out by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF). The project implementation is financed by World Bank (WB) and its cost amounts to approximately GEL 1.4 million. The project envisages works to reinforce the walls of an enclosure (fencing), as well as to construct-rehabilitate the Visitors Center, parking lot, communication system and toilets.

The rehabilitation project for Tbilisi Metro cables and ventilation is implemented by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) with funding from Asian Development Bank (ADB). Total cost of the project exceeds 15 million USD.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is completing the World Bank funded project for construction of Vani Archeological Museum building and rehabilitation of the adjoining area. Total project cost is equal to GEL 19 million.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is carrying out the project for construction of 8 IDP houses in Tskaltubo Municipality Village Gvishtibi. Cost of the Government of Georgia funded project is exceeding GEL 32.5 million. Following project completion, 560 IDP households will be provided with housing. Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia inspected ongoing works at the project site.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is implementing the project for construction of internationally standardized stadium in Khashuri. Cost of the World Bank funded project averages GEL 6.1 million. Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia and Giorgi Guraspashvili, Mayor of Khashuri were visiting the ongoing project site for inspection of works.

Maya Tskitishvili, Vice-Premier, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia inspected school rehabilitation works ongoing in Samtskhe Javakheti villages Zarzma and Mokhe. Zarzma and Mokhe school rehabilitation works, which are part of Educational Infrastructure Rehabilitation Program, are being implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia operating under the MRDI.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia is completing design/construction works for Bakuriani by-pass road. The project at the cost exceeding GEL 6 million is funded by the European Investment Bank. Giorgi Shengelia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia was visiting the ongoing project site for inspection together with Besik Amiranashvili, Governor of Samtskhe-Javakheti region.

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is commencing belvedere construction project to be implemented throughout the country. According to the project, belvederes are to be arranged in specially selected locations of various regions of Georgia - in the vicinity of cultural heritage monuments or next to the roads with remote panoramic views

The works for Dusheti Historical District envisages rehabilitation of buildings and structures of central part – Rustaveli, Erekle II, Chavchavadze, Kostava, St. Nino, Shamanauri Streets and of sites being in the vicinity of Central Park. On that section there are accumulated the distinguished samples of urban type buildings and structures with granted status of cultural heritage, built at the edge of the 19th and 20th  centuries.
