Kindergarten Construction Project Initiated in Zestaponi and Kharagauli Municipalities

The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has commenced works for construction of kindergartens in Zestaponi Municipality village Kveda Sazano and Kharagauli Municipality villages Vertkvichala and Saghandzile. The project is funded by Government of Georgia and its cost exceeds GEL 2,1 million.

Residential Buildings for 960 IDP Households undergo Construction in Zugdidi

8 residential buildings for IDPs at Baramia St. in Zugdidi undergoes active construction. The works are being executed by Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of Ministry of Regional Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) with financial support from the Government of Georgia (GoG). Total cost of the project exceeds GEL 60 million. Upon project finalization, 960 IDP households will be provided with housing.

Year 2019 Report Presented by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia

Persons in attendance inter alia included: Maya Tskitishvili, Vice Premier, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Giorgi Shengeia, Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, and representatives of governmental entities and donor organizations.

560 IDP Households in Tskaltubo to be provided with housing

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastrucutre of Georgia (MRDI) is constructing 8 residential houses for IDPs in Gvishtibi Village of Tskaltubo Municipality. Project implementation is funded by the Government of Georgia (GoG) at the cost exceeding GEL 33 million. 560 IDP households will be provided with housing upon project finalization.

Tourist Infrastructure Arranging Finalization at Motsameta Monastery

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) has completed improvement works for culture heritage and tourists zones at Motsameta Monastery in Tkibuli Municipality. The project has been implemented with financial support from the World Bank at the cost of approximately GEL 1.4. million.

A new 6 km Road to Connect Villages of Chiatura Municipality

Inhabitants of Chiatura Municipality Villages Tsinsopeli and Chilovani are to benefit from the new road. The Municipal Development Fund is to complete rehabilitation of the 6 km road section by February, 2020. The above-mentioned road rehabilitation project involves laying asphalt pavement, arrangement of driveways, concrete ditches, connections and drainage pipes.
