32 block of flats are under rehabilitation process in town Poti. By GoG funding current civil works in ADP settlement is implemented by MDF. MDF executive director Giorgi Amashukeli along with Samegrelo-zemo Svaneti governer Levan Shonia and local government representatives visited buildings external hydro and insulation works.
Government of Georgia allocated GEL 2.382.657.3 million based on MDF request for rehabilitation of 32 blocks of flats. Buildings constructed during former government governance were of poor quality; mainly walls were constantly wet, which made population living conditions unbearable. Water existing on the base of the building posed big threat for entire building.
ADP’s blocks of flats external hydro and insulation works in Poti commenced in November 2014 and will be finalized in April 2015. After project finalization existing problems of 1168 families residing in mentioned settlement will be totally solved. 135 workmen are hired on rehabilitation works among them 65 locals.
Rehabilitation works are implemented by Georgian company Ltd “ Java”.
