With active backing provided by the USAID, within a 2-year period the MDF has completed rehabilitation of 13 residential buildings in various Municipalities of Georgia. Within the scope of our cooperation, last year we have arranged and put into operation 10 buildings in various towns throughout Georgia (Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Vani, Marneuli, Kareli, Terjola, Zestaponi), as a result of above-mentioned activities, apartments were granted to 335 IDP households. This year, in addition to Borjomi, rehabilitation of apartment buildings will be implemented in Kaspi and Kutaisi and 241 household will have new houses. One of these days we will open a newly rehabilitated building in Kaspi municipality and 113 more households will receive housing; before the end of the year rehabilitation of the building with 110 apartments for IDP-s will be completed in Kutaisi” – stated Ilia Darchiashvili in his speech at the report presentation.
