First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and at the same time MDF Executive Director Giorgi Amashukeli held meeting with World Bank Vice President Laua Tuck.
Kakheti rehabilitation was executed by World Bank financial support. MDF Executive Director and World Bank representatives visited rehabilitated Kakheti in particular Telavi and Alaverdi . By World Bank financial support MDF constructed “Matsvnis Sakhli” on Alaverdi Monastery territory. Besides visiting rehabilitated objects, parties have discussed future cooperation plans.
MDF is launching regional development project III with World Bank financial support, and within the framework of this project rehabilitation of Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Samtskhe Javakheti regions is envisaged. Parties agreed that future projects will be implemented as successfully as ongoing projects are implemented.
