The Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Regional Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Safety Measure of Tusheti Road.
Above mentioned road is situated in East Georgia, in town Akhmeta municipality, Kakheti region, 140 km distance from Tbilisi. Length of design road id 72 km. Problematic sections are already selected on entire line. Length of sections to be rehabilitated varies from 40-125m. Including: 7 lower supporting wall and one console balcony.
