Design of a new UEFA Category III Stadium in Bolnisi is to begin

The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is to begin the design of a UEFA Category III Stadium in Bolnisi. The stadium with natural turf is to be designed for 4500 spectators.
 
Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of MDF Beka Urushadze, and representatives of local authorities, visited the stadium site.
 
In addition to soccer matches, the new sports infrastructure is also intended to host rugby games.
 
In accordance with international soccer and rugby standards, the stadium shall have locker rooms for teams and referees, shower units, conference and medical rooms, as well as a media center and commercial spaces.
 
As per design, the stadium site will include parking lot adapted for people with special needs.
 

The new stadium in Bolnisi will be equipped with modern irrigation, security, and lighting systems, as well as with the audio-visual systems, required for broadcasting.
