March 7, 2026

The design phase of the Ambrolauri House of Culture is set to begin.

A contract has been signed with the company that won the competition. The service consists of four stages, and the overall timeframe for completing the work has been set at six months.

The objective of the project is comprehensive rehabilitation of the House of Culture, preserving its historical appearance while adapting it to modern standards.

As a result of the rehabilitation, the building will function as a multifunctional cultural center, incorporating spaces for a folk theater, folklore and choreographic groups, a museum, and educational activities.

The project also envisages use of energy-efficient technologies and adaptation of the building to ensure accessibility for persons with special needs.

The Ambrolauri House of Culture, distinguished by its unique architecture, has historically held significant cultural and historical value and has long served as the principal venue for a wide range of events, concerts, and public gatherings.
