Meeting with teachers of Khamiskuri Village Public School

 Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) Beka Urushadze, met with the teachers of Khamiskuri Village Public School of Khobi Municipality, and discussed the current situation with them.

 

The Khamiskuri School, designed for 100 students, has been depreciated, and because of that the students are currently proceeding with the study process at private houses. At the meeting, the Minister spoke in detail about the construction process, and the approximate deadlines.
The school was transferred to MDF after the abolition of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency (ESIDA).
 
Revaz Sokhadze explained to the teachers that the designing of Erisimedi Village School will be commenced soon, and that design will also be used for the construction of the new School of Khamiskuri Village. 
 
Upon finalization of the design works, a bidding for the construction works will be announced.
 
The Minister apologized to the teachers and students of the school for the delay of the school upgrade project, and noted that it is important the students to have a safe, modern learning environment that fully meets the requirements of quality education.
