Design on a Category 3 Stadium of UEFA standards in Tskaltubo begins

Design on a new, Category 3 Stadium of UEFA standards in Tskaltubo has begun.
Alongside the development of educational infrastructure in Tskaltubo, sports infrastructure is also being developed actively there.
The Minister of Infrastructure, together with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF), representatives of local authorities and self-governmental bodies, architects, and builders, reviewed the details of the design for the sports infrastructure, scheduled to be arranged in Tskaltubo.
The design of a football stadium of modern standards has begun. After the existing stadium in Tskaltubo is demolished, a Category III stadium of UEFA standards to seat up to 6000 spectators will be built.
The project includes the construction of changing rooms, showers, a media center, a conference room, security systems, and audiovisual equipment, as well as rooms of referees, medical and physiotherapy rooms, a doping control area, a parking lot, and a retail space.
A new stadium will be able to host various events, including high-level sporting ones.
The architectural design is being developed by the company “Studio 9”, the architectural company that won the competition, held by MDF.
